I was cold busted here. I had dropped my radio remote control and had just recovered it when I got tagged with instant-on. I have no idea how I drove away from this without a ticket. I don’t think this was CHP, because they almost always use laser for situations like this. The gun he used looked to me like a Kustom Talon II, which the CHP doesn’t even use. I think this was Irwindale PD running a speed trap on the 605 that runs through their city.

The Infiniti Laser Guided Cruise Control system causes false alerts on just about any laser detection/jamming system. Totally annoying!

My 9500i beats my buddy’s V1 on a Ka alert in Washington State. It’s only by a split second, but it still alerts first. It also ramps up faster.

This video shows why you should always cruise in a pack. Although you can’t tell from the video, this pack of cars was about 10 cars or so. The Moto CHP was targeting someone behind us, probably someone traveling along with no other cars.
