Whistler XTR-690SE Completely Misses Stalker Instant On
Arizona Highway Patrol was parked in the median in a position where he could shoot radar in both directions.
Instant on kills. Apparently cops can’t “get on when they are on coming to you”. I know they can because, thats exactly how I got my very first ticket.
Gun: Stalker ATR 34.7 Ka Band Radar – The gun is within calibration and was checked with a 40 MPH tuning fork prior to use. – The gun was pointed/shot at the same location each time. – Short bursts of instant on were used (enough time to acquire a vehicles speed) You can see V1’s superior detection and response time in this video.
Escort 8500 X50 vs. Stalker Ka Band 34.7 Instant On Gun is within calibration and was checked with a 40 MPH tuning fork prior to use. The gun was fired at the same place every time.
I got a Instant On alert on my Escort 9500ix from the State Police, I think he hit somebody in his lane on the other side of the barrier. He would have had to go about a 1/2 mile before he could have turned around. If the cement barrier was not there I could have been in trouble had no advanced warning.

Had these been real scenarios the V1 would definitely edge out the Escort if any early detection was possible.
I was driving on the toll road and the Escort 9500ix picked up two Instant Shots of Ka band 35.5.
Example of the State Police using instant on, against oncoming traffic. Also got a few Laser alerts on the Escort 9500ix from the airport close by.
The Escort 9500ix did a good job of warning me about a cop running I/O under a overpass, hiding behind some yellow barrels. Also a semi truck flashed his lights warning me that a cop was ahead generating some much needed revenue for the state. I can’t believe I didn’t get any warning from the CB about this trap.
