Escort 9500ci and Whistler Pro 78SE vs. Rolling I/O Ka 34.7 (Part 3)
TX DPS running I/O again. These are the worst leos for speeders because all they don’t turn on their radar until you are right in front of them. It is essential to use rabbits against TX DPS.
Again, both rds do a good job of sniffing out this leo’s sneaky hiding spot in the median. This was the second moto LEO that I ran into on that rainy day.
LEO was on the right side of the parking lot I/Oing cars as they entered the lot. Two words: revenue generation.
I approached the I/O trap from the other direction to see how both rds would do against forward facing I/O.
Boths rds do a good job of alerting me to a moving LEO. The 9500ci beat out the Whistler but the Whistler wasn’t far behind.
Both rds picked up the radar signal over one mile away. Great detection range from both detectors. The LEO also shot me with laser when I was right on top of him.
Both rds picked up the Ka radar signal over 1 mile away. The 9500ci picked it up 1.7 miles away while the Whistler picked it up 1.3 miles away. The moto LEO was located in the median and turned around to chase down the silver BMW. Both detectors did an outstanding job.
