The way I beat one of these tickets is that I took them to court because the officer who wrote the ticket was not the officer who witnessed me “wreckless driving” the officer showed up but I told them he was not the one accusing me of the violation and I had the right to face my accuser. The judge imidiately threw it out and told them that the actual officer in the “spotter car” should have been there. I loved smiling and waving goodbye. HPD will do anything for money.
