It’s getting to where I could post one of these a week. HPD running another “spotter” car/chase car configuration. This crew was fairly liberal with they’re citing of cross streets and landmarks so finding them was easy. Also, finally got the spotter car. Unmarked Dodge Charger. Big surprise.

The way I beat one …
The way I beat one of these tickets is that I took them to court because the officer who wrote the ticket was not the officer who witnessed me “wreckless driving” the officer showed up but I told them he was not the one accusing me of the violation and I had the right to face my accuser. The judge imidiately threw it out and told them that the actual officer in the “spotter car” should have been there. I loved smiling and waving goodbye. HPD will do anything for money.

I listen to the TAC …
I listen to the TAC channels. HPD isn’t encrypted so any scanner will pick them up if you listen. Finding the spotter car is a whole other thing. You don’t want to go crashing through one of these rolling traps looking for the spotter or you will be the “spotted”

So see if I got this right…The dodge charger was speeding and the cops on the side of the road would see if anyone would follow him and if they do the cops on the side of the road would pull over the guy following the charger??

bloody sneaky HPD….damn! They are seriously going all out for speeders now huh? I just purchased an Li, but I’m having problems finding places that’ll do the installation….blows and I wouldn’t dare do it myself cause I’m afraid I’d mess up some other wires.
