Escort Redline VS Escort 9500ix gps ON test n 2
driving south on lsd , chicago il, i decided to run a test to compare both radars, i ended up choosing Redline for my daily driving despite the occasional false alerts, i prefer to keep my record clean, now in some places they even check ur driving records if u’re looking for a job… hope this video will help you decide, redline camera, u be careful and watch for the signs nothing else, sometimes the 9500ix gives me the warning only after i see the redlight camera sign posted on the side of the road… it means it’s too late. with the GPS on , it doesn’t perform at its best , if you notice , it gave the detection when i almost got to the bridge , in the first video it gave me detection before the bridge , but redline gave it way before the ix anyway.

You still had enough time to slow down from that alert and nether detector will save you from instant on. I’ll take the GPS lockout on the 9500ix over any other unit. I live and drive by a lot of bussiness and had it with the false alerts. The red light camera alerts I can live without because in Texas where I live they must post signs that an intersection has a red light camera. Speed camera’s are against the law here.

I am considering switching a 9500ix to redline. But will the redline give you too many false alarms in the city?

where did you buy the radar?

sometimes you can get a badly calibrated unit send it in the escort and they will go thru it and send it back, probably working better than ever before..

You have know that a police radar can only catch your speed in quater of a mile or closer. The 9500IX alerts you at least 3 mile by the time the police see your speed in quarter of mile you then slowing down your speed.

@mraissam1997 It’s been proven that even the M3 antenna leaks. It’s falsely advertised that it emits no signal that can interfere with another detector. Run the separately and you will get different results.

The Redline beat the 9500ix by more than 17 seconds, that’s quite a lot.

your 9500ix must suck… mine clearly saw a cop 2 miles up the road around a corner. update it.

@mraissam1997 True, it just something i don’t do…

@Wellmann41 hi , well they don’t , the 9500ix leaks frequency the redline doesn’t so the 9500ix will never sense the presence of the redline
that’s why u can’t run for example 8500×50 and 9500ix coz they both leak, anyway i did test them separately , i got the same result i just didn’t record it

The escort redline will crush the 9500 any day. And running them together they’ll interfere..
