Both units (V1, RX65e) were mounted exactly in the same place and position, so they had the same conditions to find this radar source. 9500ci is mounted in a bumper, but it’s just the way it is used for everyday.

it looks like you had the V1 positioned pointing off to the right a bit. If that’s the case it certainly would have reduced the range vs it pointing straight ahead. And FYI, all windshield mounted units should be placed higher up in the windshield for better detection, as opposed to near the bottom as is in the video.
