The 9500ix is my favorite windshield mounted radar detector followed closely by the V1, but neither is in the same league as the 9500ci. The 9500ci is much more sensitive than the 9500ix and the V1, plus the 9500ci is immune to Spectre radar detector detectors, while the 9500ix and V1 are not. I would recommend the V1 if you live in a rural area with few false alerts and the 9500ix in a more suburban or city setting, where false alerts are more prevelant. Autolearn feature woks great for me.

Yeah was thinking about getting a 9500ix. Same thing as ci I believe except ci is custom installed in the car. Would you recommend the 9500ix? Heard some bad stories about the autolearn feature on the 9500i.
