I was cold busted here. I had dropped my radio remote control and had just recovered it when I got tagged with instant-on. I have no idea how I drove away from this without a ticket. I don’t think this was CHP, because they almost always use laser for situations like this. The gun he used looked to me like a Kustom Talon II, which the CHP doesn’t even use. I think this was Irwindale PD running a speed trap on the 605 that runs through their city.

You might be onto something here. With the other cars between us, the LEO might not have seen me until the cosine error was largely in my favor. I’d bet I was doing 90ish, so I would have needed quite a bit of cosine help.

same situation …
same situation happened to me once and I completely knew that I WAS BUSTED! Doing 80 in a 55 so I just sped like there was no tomorrow and parked my car in a garage off the highway at a shopping mall and was SAFE!
Sorta like GTAIV I suppose! haha prepared me well lol
