Better get your rx65e checked out, must be bad. I had an older version rx65 about a 2 years ago and it would alert me FAR before your rx65e would. Nice real world tests. Check out “Radar Roy”, he is the king of testing radar detectors….

That UV sun visor …
That UV sun visor strip gives completely no influence to radar signal – tested many times period.

it appears the V1 + …
it appears the V1 + Rx65 are behind the anti UV sun visor strip -
also if you have the chance in the future can you try mounting the V1 vertical against this Ka with Euro Mode oFF usually is more effective when vertically mounted.

As far as I know there is no detection difference between 6.5 and 6.4 revision of RX65e. Notice that V1 doesn’t show off in that place also.

Put detectors to Vertical is good for ka band detection,i also do this tests. Why not put the v1 Vertical? I ‘seems that rx65e 6.5 no good as rx65e ver 6.4 …..
