The laser detection on the V1 is superior but neither will provide sufficient protection against laser. You’ll need a jammer (Blinder, LI) to tackle that.
It just detects radar and laser. The only radar jammer that actually worked against Ka band was the Scorpion Ultimate Ka radar jammer but it was $1500 and the maker was shut down by the FCC because it is illegal to jam radar. The Laser Interceptor is the best laser jammer you can buy on the market and it is only illegal to jam laser in nine states because the FDA controls laser not the FCC.
word of advice you all should get some kind of laser jammer, by the time you all are zapped with laser before you can even re=act to it. they will have your speed.
but for any winshield mounted radar Valentine one I would say beats all.
