@areyouready28 That’s good distance. It sounds just like the old Escort I had back in the day- prolly because Valentine worked for Cincinnatti Microwave, who made the Escort. But to be honest, when I settled into my 30′s and my Escort got fried by the sun I figured I’d just drive the limit or single nickle and listen to tunes instead of hearing beeps for a mile. Believe me, it get’s old after a while, you’ll understand in about 10 years.
I have both a 9500ix and the v1, they both have there high points, with 9500ix having signal lockout and redlight database, but the v1 has very good range, the reason I now use the v1 Is because the laser detction kicks the 9500ix’s ass in that category. Both great detectors, I still have both of them

They are both good radars but the v1 picks up radar a bit quicker…theres some videos on utube proving that
