haha yea i wasnt noticing the results when i was recording..when i uploaded them..something wasnt right…my buddy has the same detector i did and gave him better results,..which i came to the conclusion..yea my x50 was defective…lucky for me bought it in an authorized dealers so i got a free replacment from escort

There was no doubt your original looked fake and staged. I am glad you post it was defective. I own the X50 and its great. The v1 is great but its ugly and to many false alarms

its really hard. I like V1 because of the arrows but falses a bit more than the x50. V1 has better defense for laser however once it goes off cop already has ur speed. V1 is also more expensive. Performance wise both are great.

It doesn’t eliminate false K’s, but it substantially reduces if not completely removes false X-band false alarms.

I love both detectors. The V1 falsed like crazy compared to the X50 because its very sensitive, which is good/bad. If i my X50 were to go bad i would get the V1 again.

have a suggestion for ya. it seems to be that the detector was probably not horizontally installed. its strongly recommended that you install it as horizontally as possible for max range detection. and btw I have used both this one and V1. I guess V1 just proved to be so better not cuz of the range but also it shows u the accurate direction of the source of the signal.

my buddy brought his x50 and out performed mine, so i sent it to escort still under warranty and one of the antennas didnt work (never leave radar detectors for the sun to hit when not in use in the hot summer)i got the new one tested again and better results
