Nothing Special Here people just me doing a Video on a Escort 8500 X50 Blue display radar detector Vs a K Ban Speed Sign (k 24.153) in a place called Picton in the south island of new zealand. i wanted to video some police cars and ka ban detection but its not safe to do it while im driving plus its a manual need two hands to drive

i can’t see what else it could be detecting mate the gas startion doesn’t have auto door openers. and it’s not a bull shit detector it’s one of the best being an Escort 8500 X50 it’s basicly a beltronics. i take it your a valentine one lover

but then again it’s not detection cops is it!. it’s detecting a low powered k ban radar.
and it’s not the cops that it detect’s it detects radar. so if the radar in the police is transmiting then the radar detector will pick it up that’s what it’s detecting. and that’s on ka ban (stalker daul)

Hate to burst your bubble but your detector is responding to somthing else. thatsign doesn’t have that kind of system. It has plates under ground

what the hell were you doing gong that fast in that area it goes from the 100 k speed zone to the 50 k speed zone if your coming towards picton. i do some speeding my self but i only go 10 or 20 k over but that’s on open roads. i think you deserved yours im guessing the cop was siting on the side of the road by the 50 sign coming as you are coming down the hill

nope only fixed speed camera’s have that this sign like most other neon speed sign’s use a low powered K ban radar as you can see i will send you another video where i go past two of them in blenheim

after going passed this speed sign again i found that it only clocks my speed 3 seconds after the 50 k speed sign

not in this case its just hard to get a good very the detector goes off before the sign gets a speed reading i need to worry about the most important thing and that’s road safety. not only that radar detectors don’t work as well in new zealand our roads are really windy not very str8 like in the usa

I’m not here to fight with you bro if i had a better view witch is hard because im driving a car and its a manual you get about 6 seconds before the sign Acquires your speed it says 00 on the sign and the radar detector is alerting before it says a speed reading like it said 45
