behind a parked cop

@zaboomafoo6933 if you put it lower it will detect laser better not radar, the higher then the better it will detect radar.
After about a year I had to send it in to be serviced. like 50 bucks, back to new
nice detector, by the way, have you ever experienced any malfunctions with it or anything like that?
I have an 8500 x50, and mine would ve been full strength at least 1/2 mile minimum facing away.
NOT!
GPS would have the same signal strength in all directions. They do not have a directional ant as this signal source clearly does.
…and the debate of where to mount a RD continues. Clear view of the road mounted level is all you have to worry about. The difference between high and low and little to none. I mount in the middle of my windshield just under the rear view mirror.
thats still pretty damn good for faward facing. around a little bend
hey sweet x50 but if you put it as low as you can then your going to maximize its ability to pick up radars just a tip nice setup tho!
He didn’t leave his radar on, the 8500 x50 also picks up on the GPS signal cop cars emit. His GPS was on.
