Beltronics 955 vs. Beltronics 995 and other radar detectors?

Hello Everyone. I was wondering whats the difference between the 955 and 995. Which one should I buy? Are they both the same detectors but more features? And how do both compare to Escort 8500 X50 or Valentine 1? Thank you.

I have the Valentine 1 and personally think it the best one out there. It detect cop behind me many times, which other radar detector don't.
