Just driving home from work about 7:30am as I topped the hill on to GA HWY316 southbound in Oconee County I was confronted with a full C/OK band blast. If I had been speeding I would have been toast! I had already passed the cruiser by the time I started recording, but at least you get to see a little C65 Tech Mode.

I was headed home down HWY316 south about a mile past HWY78 when I started picking up a faint K-band. I did not see any police around but if you notice the signal gets strongest as this SUV passes. False or legit? You decide.

The C65 includes full X, K, SuperWide Ka, and Safety Warning System radar capability, front and rear laser detection, complete with digital signal processing (DSP) for superior long-range ability and reduced false alarms. AutoScan mode can virtually eliminate those false alarms, and provides both Highway and City sensitivity settings.

Mute and AutoMute
Escort’s patented AutoMute feature automatically reduces the alert volume after initially alerting you at your selected volume. This keeps you informed without the annoyance of a continuous full-volume alert. If you’d prefer, you can turn the AutoMute feature off.

The Mute button, located on C65′s top case, allows you to silence the audio alert entirely.
