@oafaloaf No radar detector can provide adequate protection against laser. Laser travels in such a straight line that by the time your detector picks it up, the policeman already has your speed. You must get laser jammers. No way around it.

either one. V1 falses a bit more but has awesome K detection. and gives you arrows. But again both are just as good u cant go wrong with either one.

All radar detector is going to give you false alarm. The escort 9500i does the best job in preventing false alarm. The escort 8500 and rx65 will do a good job in false alarms compared to other radars. The v1 will false like crazy but has excellent detection espicially in K band.

Does the belltronic Rx give lots of false allarms??? Just doing some research before I spend the money.

You’ll need a jammer for that. You will have no advanced when HP shoots laser at you.
